Established in 1999, Balance First is one of a few offices in Iowa to offer the gentle chiropractic procedure known as NUCCA.The office is conveniently located just north of Interstate 235, in the Windsor Heights area of Des Moines.

Balance First is owned and operated by Dr. Deb Sesker. Originally from Arkansas, Dr. Deb graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, where she went to study the NUCCA chiropractic system of healing. Dr. Sesker is Board Certified in the NUCCA procedures.

In addition to the life-changing benefits of upper cervical chiropractic care, Dr. Sesker also offers weight loss and nutrition coaching as a compliment to her chiropractic practice. Based on a personal experience with the same coaching process, Dr. Sesker is responding to the weight and nutrition problems of so many Iowans.
